Towards the end of the school term, Murray Grigor once again collaborated with the Glendowie College PE department to organise a number of bowls sessions for students. As always it was very successful, due in no small way to the fantastic team of GBC volunteers who hosted the sessions. 

“The students really enjoyed the opportunity to have a try at Lawn bowls and we really appreciate the club providing that opportunity for us” – Dave Storrie Head of PE.

We always enjoy it too Dave and many of the volunteers commented how satisfying it was for them seeing the students bowling (some with considerable potential) and having fun.

Looking forward to the next one…and maybe a staff v student challenge day sometime!
