What a great day! It was brilliant to welcome the community back to the club after there were no public-facing bowls events last season due to covid.

There was a genuine representation of all ages “having a go” – the youngest being 6 years old!

The A green was pretty much chocka throughout and at one stage there were actually people queuing to get in! BBQ was awesome and John’s “GBC Big Bangers” music playlist might just be giving Mike’s superb Bowls3Five playlist a run for its money…!

A huge success made possible by Murray’s excellent organization and a fantastic team of GBC volunteers – well done to all!

Let’s do it all again on the 30^th Oct! And then it’s Neighbourhood Bowls time!
